Welcome to my website.
Having completed my second year of grad school, I'm finding myself getting more serious about my art. True, I'm having way too much fun to rush through it ... but the time has come to have both feet on the ground. As a mixed media artist, I work in oils, watercolor, ink, acrylic, textiles and found objects. My approach defies traditional categories, but defines my vision of storytelling through art. In fact, to clarify the creative process, I've added the planning and process behind each piece in the Artworks section of this website. I'm especially pleased to share with you the new series I've begun working on: "Wise Women." As part of this series, I've just completed a completely new large scale triptych titled "On Becoming."
